The Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET®) was founded in London in 1969 to provide high-quality education and training in wines and spirits for trade professionals. Since then, WSET® has grown into an international body in the field of wines and spirits education, with a range of sought-after qualifications for both professionals and enthusiasts.
WSET® works through a network of Approved Programme Providers around the world. These external providers undergo a rigorous approval and monitoring process to ensure they meet the high standards, both to teach and administer examinations in accordance with WSET® policy.
