Welcome to the Grape Skills Community – a place to connect, exchange ideas and experiences, ask questions, and continue learning together.
Our community brings together wine enthusiasts, students, alumni and professionals from different backgrounds and levels of experience. We want it to be a welcoming and supportive space where everyone feels comfortable participating.
By joining discussions or posting in the community, you agree to follow these guidelines.
Introduce yourself
We’d love to know who you are! Feel free to introduce yourself, tell us what brought you to Grape Skills, what you do and what interests you in the world of wine.
Be respectful
Different opinions, experiences and perspectives are part of what makes a community interesting. Please communicate respectfully and keep discussions constructive.
Discrimination, personal attacks, offensive or explicit content, threats, harassment or intentionally disruptive behaviour are not welcome.
Ask, share and learn
There are no “wrong” questions here. Whether you are just beginning your wine journey or already work professionally in the industry, feel free to ask questions, exchange recommendations and share your knowledge and experiences.
Wine is also a subject where personal perception and preferences matter. Disagreement is absolutely fine – just keep the discussion respectful and open-minded.
Support our community
Many Grape Skills students and alumni work in wine, gastronomy, hospitality and related fields, and we are happy for the community to discover what you do.
You are welcome to share relevant businesses, restaurants, events, tastings, projects, job opportunities and professional initiatives.
The aim is to connect and support one another, rather than turn the community into an advertising platform. Please avoid repetitive promotions, unrelated advertising or spam.
Respect privacy
Please do not share another member’s personal information, photos or private conversations outside the community without their permission. Be mindful of the personal information you choose to share about yourself as well.
Keep it relevant
Keep posts connected to wine, beverages, education, gastronomy, hospitality, travel or other topics that are relevant to our community.
Please also use the appropriate group or discussion area whenever possible so that information remains easy for everyone to find.
Help us keep it a great community
If you come across content or behaviour that you believe goes against these guidelines, please let the Grape Skills team know.
Grape Skills reserves the right to move or remove inappropriate, irrelevant or promotional content and, where necessary, restrict access for members who repeatedly disregard the community guidelines.
Most importantly: connect, exchange, stay curious and enjoy being part of the Grape Skills Community. 🍇🥂
