WSET® Level 3 Award in Wines: Professional wine knowledge for experts
 
This course provides in-depth product knowledge and expert-level tasting skills. With this knowledge, you will be able to classify a wine's style and assess its quality. A WSET® Level 3 Certificate is valuable for a career in the wine industry, but is also rewarding for ambitious wine enthusiasts who want professional knowledge. It is also an entry requirement for the WSET® Level 4 Diploma.

➨ Assessment:
The course ends with an examination consisting of:
• Practical part: a blind tasting of two wines.
• Theory part: a closed-book exam of 50 multiple-choice questions and a short-written answer paper.
A mark of 55% is required on both the tasting and theory papers to pass.
 
➨ Entry requirements:
Candidate should be over 18 years of age.
This course is NOT suitable for beginners. WSET Level 2 Award in Wines or  equivalent level of knowledge highly recommended.
 
➨ Recommended preparation:
A solid knowledge of the course material is essential for success. Plan to dedicate at least 55 hours to studying beforehand.
