WSET Level 2 Award in Wines: Compact wine knowledge at a high level!
 
This qualification provides a comprehensive understanding of different wines, including over 20 grape varieties and more than 70 growing regions. It combines theoretical knowledge with practical tasting experience to develop the ability to confidently describe and evaluate wines. On completion of the course you will receive a WSET certificate and a lapel pin.

➨ Course dates: 3 days: 13, 14 and 15 October 2023 from 9.30 to 18.00 Registration deadline: 29 September 2023
 
➨ Assessment: The course ends with an examination consisting of 50 multiple-choice questions to be answered in 60 minutes. An overall mark of 55% is required to pass successfully.
 
➨ Entry requirements: There are no prerequisites for entry to WSET Level 2. However, candidates without wine knowledge are advised to take Level 1 first. Participants should be over 18 years of age (minors aged 16 and over require the written consent of their legal guardians).
 
➨ Recommended preparation: Before starting the course, participants should have read the textbook and the course book. This course is enjoyable but requires a minimum of 11 hours of self-study.
 
➨ Study Pack: This will be sent to the participant immediately after booking the course.
 
➨ Course fee: 825,00 € (Note: VAT exempt according to § 4 No. 21 a) bb) UStG)
 
➨ The course fee includes: • The WSET® Level 2 Study Pack, course materials, tuition, coffee break with snacks. • Tasting of approx. 45 wines according to the course specification, one examination attempt and postage. • The WSET certificate and associated pin on successful completion.
